Where do I miss the most? Where am I longing to get back? What’s my favorite place in Europe?
The answer to all three questions is the same: Switzerland.
Back in December, we actually applied for long-stay visas to move back to Switzerland and start making ourselves a permanent home base. Then, just a week or two before we should have heard on our visas, COVID swept in and wrecked everyone’s year. Visas froze and so far we haven’t heard what our new visa approval timeline is.
And so, we wait. And wait. And wait.
And I long for the place that keeps capturing my heart over and over again.
Switzerland, so very much hope to see you again soon.
