A foggy day in Plitvice National Park

This spring, I took my first trip to Plitvice National Park, and I fell in love. Steep gorges, lush greenery, hundreds of waterfalls…yes, please any day of the week.

So when I had a chance to return to the park with two dear friends in mid-September, I said hell yes. Our park morning was moody and dramatic after a day or two of storms and I loved every second. 

So, here’s another photo essay. Because the park feels so dramatically different draped in fog and with just the tiniest hint of fall colors peeking through the green:
