Winter in Taormina: A Photo Essay
As you may already know, we kicked off 2017 on vacation in Taormina, Sicily, a city known as the “pearl of Sicily” because it’s so freaking adorable. We spent a whole month in this little town poised above the cliffs, halfway up a hill, with a view of famed, intimidating, snow-capped Mount Etna.
Here’s what that month looked like.

Gorgeous! Now I’m even more sad Andy and I didn’t make it there when we were in Sicily a few years ago! Siracusa was really pretty too, but man, I want to go back to Sicily and travel around for a month or two and see lots of different places.

This is amazing! My spouse and I are going to Sicily in winter and have little idea what to expect (except some cold I suppose). It’s so nice to see that the ocean is still in stunning blues and the fields (surprisingly) still green!

Absolutely love these photos Gigi! I’ve only been to Taormina once with work but I found it to be such a beautiful gem. Plus you got to see the snow!
