Adorable town alert: Kaysersberg, France

by Gigi Griffis
Kaysersberg France

In 2017, when the French voted for their favorite small town, the winner was a little hill-surrounded haven in the Alsace wine country called Kaysersberg.

Of course, when we spent our vacation in Alsace, visiting one of France’s most beloved small towns rose to the top of my to-do list. And after just an hour or two of exploring the colorful side streets and hiking up to the hillside castle, I have to concur with the French. This place is something special.

Photos will do it more justice than words. So here you are:

I went to their Christmas Market there in 2017, and you are right, it is a very special place. It looks even more special in summer. Thanks for bringing back a special memory!
