Photo Essay: A Stroll Through Perugia
Perugia (pronounced Per – u – ja) is a famous art city and the capitol of Umbria, Tuscany’s lesser-visited but just as charming neighbor. I chose it as my home base for January because it’s a university town (and you all know I love university towns) and the pictures on Flickr took my breath away. Luckily, those pictures were just the beginning, because in case you didn’t notice, it’s stunning here. Cold, quiet in the off-season, and stunning.
In other words, I’m loving it.
Also, today I’m being featured again over at Miss Minimalist – a blog I love about simple, minimalist living. If you are stopping by from the Miss Minimalist blog, welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
All photos taken with my lovely little Lumix.

Finally, a photo essay that’s actually a photo essay. This tells a wonderful story that captures Italy perfectly. Lovely shots.
