Back in Belgium and full of energy from my Swiss and German hiking adventures, I was determined to find Ghent’s natural side. And thanks to my lovely hostess, I really, really did.
Welcome to mist-shrouded, cobweb-covered, unexpected Bourgoyen.
Bourgoyen is located on the edge of Ghent. You can, quite literally, walk off a busy main road and into the mist-shrouded wild. I love that.
