A Day in Supetar on Brač Island (a Photo Essay)

During our two months in Split, every weekend we tried to take at least one day to explore something new. First it was fortresses in Omis. Then, as the sun shone bright and the cold winds mostly disappeared, we turned our attention to the islands.

Starting with Brač, the island closest to us and easiest to access.

Every two hours or so, a ferry leaves to make the 50-minute crossing to one of Brač’s main towns: Supetar. And one Saturday morning at 9 a.m., we were on that ferry.

Here’s what our wanderings showed us.
