One week from today, my new Switzerland guide officially comes out–a fact that kind takes my breath away.
I mean, that makes 100 Locals a five-book series–all published within a year.
And this is the best of the bunch.
Because I’ve been listening to your feedback, comments, messages, and I’ve added a few things that could come in handy, like where to find Wi-Fi and what language each town speaks (since Switzerland has four official ones).
Anyway, to celebrate the launch, as usual, I’m going to give away a free electronic copy to a randomly selected commenter. Just comment and say hi or tell me about your Switzerland travel plans or let me know how you liked the past books and you’re entered to win. Make sure to enter a valid email address so I can reach you if you win.
I’ll be randomly selecting the winner on 3 May at midnight Switzerland time (GMT +1) and I’ll contact the winner by email. You have a choice between PDF, Kindle, or Nook/iBooks versions.

Can’t wait to read ehat Ulo had to say!
:)
Naturally, I would like to win a copy. :)
Great work!
Oh, don’t worry. All interviewees will get a copy. I’ll be in touch about it next week. :)
Hi Gigi! I am amazed by how you travel the world with your beautiful Luna! I’ve always wanted to do so myself and I am planning a trip to Switzerland in July. Don’t know if I will be able to go but at least I’ll do everything I can to get there. XOXO!
Thanks! And good luck with your trip!
Thanks for the chance at the book. My last visit to Switzerland was in 1983 and I loved it. It was my first trip to Europe. I would love to return.
I hope you get to go back! Europe is so incredible and especially the Swiss Alps.
Oh, wow! I would LOVE a copy to read! I’ve recently connected with InterNations and your new book has been recommended to me. I’ve recently returned to Australia from a couple of years abroad. The future is quite uncertain. My husband and I are trying to decide if we will relocate within Australia or move to Switzerland or Northern America.
I’m looking forward to reading your writings. From what I can see, you touch on a a number of things I’ve been contemplating lately such as starting a mobile business. Financial security wherever you go =)
Thank you for sharing!
Welcome! So glad you found me.
Congrats! That is a great accomplishment! I really enjoy reading your posts, and I admire your fortitude during challenging times. Plus, I think Luna isjust the cutest thing! :-) Thanks!
Thanks!
Planning to ride the rails through the alps in May so this would be a great read!
Excellent!
Dear Gigi,
I think your book is what I really need now, because I moved to Switzerland few months before and I would like to enjoy this place little bit more :)
hm… Luna is so cute :)
Best wishes
Welcome to Switzerland!
I really loved the Italy book and can’t wait to read this one. I was in Switzerland last year for the first time, visiting a friend in Geneva. I am hoping to return next year and spend more time in the mountains – one of my favorite places to be. Fingers crossed that I win that free copy!! But, if not, I still buy one : )
Thanks!
I am going to Lucerne in June, and I would love to win a copy! I love your blog.
Oh, Lucerne is lovely. Enjoy!
I really enjoy reading your blog. The idea of traveling and writing really apeals to me. I appreciate how open you are about the good and bad aspects of this lifestyle.
Thanks. That’s great to hear.
Hoi, Grüezi , Salü Gigi –
I am from Switzerland and I miss it; living in the USA. Your book will come in handy when I go back for a visit soon! Oh, and I love your blog and the Italy 100 Locals Book! ~Merci vilmal
So glad to hear it! It always makes my day to hear people have enjoyed the Italy guide.
Am really looking forward to reading your book.
My first solo travelling trip starts next week and I’m super excited. So many great countries and cities to visit
Thankyou x
Congrats!
I have never been to Switzerland but should go one day. I used to be an ESL teacher in Hawaii and MANY of my students were Swiss. I would like to go one day and meet with over 100 students I have all over that country!!!
Fantastic! Good luck.
Your writing inspired me to do the same thing.
Glad to hear it! Good luck.
Dear Gigi, congratulations on the publication of your book. It is so wonderful to see something come to life that starts off as a dream. I am hoping to come back to Switzerland in a few months. It is unique and there is so much more for me to see. Your guide would no doubt be a terrific insiders’ view of the Switzerland that I would like to see but would perhaps miss without a little local help. Well done and good on you for chasing your dreams.
Thank you!
My favourite place in Switzerland is Murren. I can’t wait to read about your favourite places.
Murren is one of mine, too. That panorama is a wow.
Wonderful! I would love to win a copy, I am currently saving for a year of travelling starting Feb 2016 – this would be an epic start to Switzerland research!
Thank you for making travel books that really help people make the most of their travels!
That’s wonderful – February is a stunning month in the Alps, usually tons of sunshine and snow. Thanks for the kind words and good luck with your trip!
I am coming to Switzerland for the first time early June (Eeee around a month to go :D)! So excited to see the Bernese Oberland area, a place I’ve dreamt of for so many years. Can’t wait to read our book and get some good tips!
Congrats! That’s so exciting.
This book sounds amazing! I am planning a family trip back to Lauterbrunnen for September 2015. Can’t wait to go back to the alps.
Oh, September is such a beautiful month there! Enjoy. :)
