Here in Croatia, the Christmas decorations are in full swing. There are icicle lights in the main square of Diocletian’s Palace. The road home is decorated with red and green bell-shaped lights. And everyone seems to be feeling fairly jolly, even though the cold winter winds are making an occasional appearance.
Which is probably why I’m feeling so festive, myself. And why I think it’s an appropriate time to announce a few special Christmas gifts I’ve been dreaming up for you guys (I mean, in addition to the photo of Luna in a Santa hat, which is kind of a fabulous gift in and of itself, right?):
If you’ve ever wanted to get the full story of that guy who grabbed my foot under the table on our first date and then proceeded to propose, now’s your chance.
2. Want some travel, entrepreneurship, or writing advice? Or just need some anti-nay-saying love, someone to say “go for it, dude!”?
In December, I’m giving away 10 pay-what-you-can one-hour Skype sessions. But instead of paying me what you can, I’m just asking that you make a donation to charity. It doesn’t matter which charity you choose and it doesn’t matter if you donate $5 or $500. If you are one of the first 10 people to email me your donation confirmation, we’ll set up a one-hour Skype call.
Not sure what charity to donate to? I feel very passionately about Somaly Mam, which rescues, houses, and educates sex trafficking survivors, and Charity:Water, which provides clean water to villages around the world. They could definitely use some Christmas love.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Merry Christmas from Croatia!
