Travel & Inspirational Link Round-Up, April Edition

by gigigriffis

Good morning, friends,

How’s your spring going so far? Ours has been a bit up and down, with serious dog illnesses and the occasional work set back, but also cool new clients and pretty coastal strolls here in Croatia. Even so, I’m ready to move on into May, when we’ll move on to my first never-been-there-before country of 2017: Bosnia and Herzegovina.

More on that soon. For now, here’s the best stuff I’ve found online this month:

:: Get outside more.

:: 16 beautiful European cities you can actually afford to visit right now

:: Is it too late to become a digital nomad at 40?

:: How much we spent living in Seville, Spain, for a month

:: Speaking of spendy: here’ one spendy restaurant that’s definitely not worth the price.

:: Looking for your next plane book? Here’s the best book I’ve read in awhile.

:: Want to talk all things business with like-minded people? I made a Facebook group for creatives, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.

:: In case you missed it: I also made a Facebook group where women and minority authors can connect, help each other out, get their queries critiqued, etc.

:: Always interesting: one blogger’s most recent online income report (with real figures).

:: Finally, something beautiful.

Finally, in case you missed them here on the blog:

:: The Strange, Beautiful Hotel Ruins of Southern Croatia

:: How to Land a Travel Job (& What to Expect When You Do)

:: A Day in the Life of a Lady Nomad, Arizona Edition
