Last year, Travel Supermarket ran a little photo contest for travel bloggers. The idea was to choose five travel photos that represented white, red, blue, green, and yellow. Five judges would pick their favorites (one in each category). And the winners got money and prizes.
This year, they’re running the contest again. And since last year I got a lot of fun feedback on my colors post, I’m entering again. Which means five new photos that each capture a color.
What’s your favorite?
Edinburgh, Scotland: This red door leads into an old church down the street from the guesthouse where I spent last June. Edinburgh was so striking.
Slane, Ireland: The first stop on my first-ever European tour, Ireland is where I found this bright and happy flower poking out of the green and gray after a rainstorm.
Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland: One of my favorite places in the world and my favorite photos – this shot is along the Lauterbrunnen valley floor, where a wide pathway stretches miles into the distance before leading up the cliffs and into the Alps.
Trummelbach Falle, Switzerland: Carving its way through the mountain, this is where the powerful falls emerge into the open air.
San Diego, California: A dolphin glides upside-down through the water on a sparkling, sunny day.
