2012 Readings: All the Stories Are Belong to Me

by gigigriffis

So, every year I keep a list of books I’ve read and books I totally tried to read and just couldn’t finish. In past years, I’ve torn through over 70 books and over 56 books (clearly I did not have a boyfriend either of those years).

This year, I suck a lot more at reading, clocking in at only 50 full reads and 7 books I couldn’t finish. In my defense, I totally read my own book like ten times before publishing this summer. Really, though, I blame it on the second half of the year. There’s a lot less reading that goes on when I’m traveling in new and gorgeous locales.

Anyhow, I’ll stop boring you with the intro. Here’s the list of what I read. Stuff I didn’t finish is stricken. My absolute favorites are bolded. And it’s all complete with dates and a few choice quotes.

Cheers.
