If you’ve been reading awhile, you already know I spent last winter in Flagstaff, taking trips outside the city to take in the warmth and beauty of Sedona, to hike into the Grand Canyon, through layer after layer of history, and to zig-zag my way through slot canyons in the north.
And now I’m happy to announce that this special part of the world, home of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Sedona’s supposed energy vortex, and the highest mountain in Arizona, is part of my 100 Locals book series.
If you aren’t familiar with the books, the idea is that the best travel advice comes from people who live in and love the city you want to visit. And so this book is a collection of 10 interviews with people who live in and around Northern Arizona.
They’ll tell you their favorite hikes, taco joints, ghost towns, and hidden gems.
