Oh, hey there. Good to see you. How’s life going this February? What have you been up to?
Here things have been…well, honestly, a little boring. We spent most of the month in a small town in Southern Colorado. Normally, I’m a big fan of small towns, but since it’s winter (which means nothing is going on) and we don’t have a reliable car (which means our access to anything going on would be minimal anyway), it’s felt very isolating. By the time you read this, we’ll have made our way across the country to New York, and holy moly am I glad.
But enough about my winter. Let’s talk about the best stuff I’ve seen online lately:
:: These photos of abandoned buildings in Rijeka are breathtaking.
:: Speaking of abandoned stuff. Let’s talk ghost trains.
:: I need some better winter clothes so that I can go to all these places.
:: This man is on a 10-year-long walk.
:: Here’s a map of sweets around Europe. You’re welcome.
:: If you love cooking (I do) and entertaining (yes, please), but don’t always have lots of space, this charming piece about throwing a big ‘ol dinner party without a table is for you.
:: How I paid off more than $17,000 of debt in 16 months <– Inspiring!
:: So, I finally gave in and started reading (and watching) Game of Thrones. I’m always skeptical about stuff that gets a lot of hype, but it’s well deserved here.
:: Finally, this love story is so lovely and unexpected.
