I’m spending the weekend in the mountains. It’s gorgeous and chilly, absolutely perfect. What a great place to sneak away from the unending VORTEX of projects. (Don’t see that as a complaint. I’m glad to be busy. But I’m also glad to sneak off for a while to a place where work is allowed to take a breather.

Luna loves the mountains too. Particularly since there are two cats here. As usual, she trembles all over–really, really wanting to play with them–and yet keeps her distance (really, really wanting to not get attacked). The cats mostly ignore her.
Sincere apologies for the chunks of silence on this blog. Last week I had family in town, which is, of course, always a crazy whirlwind not leaving much time for things like blogging. It was a nice visit, but I am glad to be getting back to my routine. I’ll start posting again soon. In the meantime, enjoy this link: apparently, underpant-showing is in. Reminds me of the time my sister thought tights were the same thing as pants (yes, she was an adult at the time). Yikes.
The last weekend of April was Beloved Roommate’s wedding. It was really really beautiful. She looks happy.
